In Kyiv, the death toll from a massive Russian attack on the night of August 20 has risen to 12 people. Seven of them died in the Solomyansky district.
This was reported by Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
At least 33 other residents of the capital were injured in the attack.
Tomorrow, August 21, has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv. All entertainment events are prohibited, and flags will be flown at half-mast on all municipal buildings in the city.
In addition, one person was killed in the Kyiv region by a Russian attack. Seven more people were injured in the Boryspil and Brovary districts. 14 private homes, warehouses, a gas station, a high-rise building, and eight cars were damaged in the region.
