During the fighting in the fall of 2025, the Ukrainian military liberated 5 villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by the 225th separate assault regiment on Telegram.
These are the villages of Orestopil, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Khoroshe, and Vorone. The liberation operation lasted over 100 days in the fall of 2025.
The villages were liberated with the support of the soldiers of the 20th Army Corps. For all 100 days, the soldiers of the 3rd Assault Battalion of the 225th Special Forces Regiment were in positions and were presented with awards.
This is a unique case where a unit continuously held positions and advanced for over 100 days, the military noted.
- In early December, fighters from the 67th separate mechanized brigade announced that they had cleared the village of Tykhe (Dnipropetrovsk region) of Russian occupiers. As of December 6, it was already under the control of the Ukrainian military.
