Poland is ready to repel Russiaʼs armed attack if the Kremlin decides to move in the direction of war.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Lukasz Jasina in an interview with TSN.ua.
He said NATO was also ready to respond to Russiaʼs aggression in the event of an attack on the Allies.
"We are always ready for that. And not only us, but our allies. All NATO members are ready. Article 5 of the Washington Treaty states that aggression against any NATO country is aggression against the entire Alliance. And if Vladimir Putin starts some aggression against Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Finland, if it joins NATO, it will be a red line for all of us. But I would like Vladimir Putin never to start any aggression again", Yasina said.
