Units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant in the Rostov region of Russia with missiles.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military hit the enterprise with “Storm Shadow” air-launched cruise missiles.
Explosions were recorded there. The extent of the damage is being determined.
The Novoshakhtinsky refinery has been repeatedly attacked by drones. It is one of the largest suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia.
The facility is directly involved in providing supplies to the Russian Armed Forces. In particular, the enterprise supplies diesel fuel and aviation kerosene to the Russian troops.
The total volume of the plantʼs tanks is over 210 000 m³.
