340 000 first-graders will go to Ukrainian schools this year.
This was reported by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andriy Vitrenko on the air of the telethon.
According to him, almost 325 000 first-graders were enrolled in Ukrainian schools last year, while, for example, in 2020, 428 000 children entered first grade.
- The new 2023/2024 academic year will begin on September 1, 2023 and last until June 28, 2024. 80-85% of schools will start it full-time or in a mixed format.
