Ukraine has released another 45 of its citizens from Russian captivity

Ukraine has released 45 of its citizens from captivity.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

"Today, 45 of our people have been released from Russian captivity. 13 officers and 20 soldiers, 5 of whom were wounded. We are also returning home 12 of our civilians," Vereshchuk wrote.

  • On April 21, Ukraine held its sixth prisoner exchange with Russia. 19 Ukrainians returned home.
