The first Ukrainian drone interceptor “Alexa Spatium” has appeared in the arsenal of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. It is designed primarily to shoot down Russian kamikaze drones.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The Ukrainian interceptor can shoot down “Geran-3”, “Geran-4”, “Geran-5”, and “Shahed-131”. In addition to Russian kamikaze drones, it can hit reconnaissance drones, helicopters, and other individual targets.
In general, “Alexa Spatium” was developed by Ukrainian engineers to destroy small air, ground and surface targets in combat conditions. It measures approximately 1.5 by 1.7 meters and is launched from a mobile catapult in a few minutes. A drone that has not completed the task can be reused. It returns to the launch site.
The drone can also fit in a pickup truck and has a significant combat range.
On July 21, the Ukrainian company “SkyFall” introduced a new model of the high-speed interceptor drone P1-SUN. The drone, called the P1-SUN Jetkiller, has already passed combat tests and shot down more than a dozen “Shahed” jet drones.
The basic P1-SUN model, first deployed in November 2025, has already destroyed over 5 500
“Shaheds”. “SkyFall” can now produce up to 50 000 of these drones per month.
