At the 33rd meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the “Ramstein” format, partners reported military assistance worth almost $38 billion.
This was reported by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov at a press conference on February 12.
According to him, a significant part of the funds will be directed to strengthening Ukrainian air defense, drones (in particular interceptors), and the development of drone assault units.
Fedorov noted that the quality and structure of partnersʼ assistance to Ukraine is changing "before our eyes".
In addition, the Netherlands, Britain, Norway and Sweden reported a contribution of €420 million for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine under the PURL program. The Netherlands will also provide Ukraine with F-16 simulators for pilot training.
The United Kingdom is providing Ukraine with the largest support package in history — £500 million (over $680 million), the countryʼs Defense Minister John Healey reported at a meeting at “Ramstein”.
He said £150 million would be spent on PURL Air Defense interceptors. Another £400 million would be allocated for 1 000 light multi-purpose missiles, as well as 1 200 air defense missiles.
Healey recalled that in 2025, “Ramstein” raised $45 billion in military aid for Ukraine, and this year, partners "must achieve better results and increase their ambitions".
