Ukrainian boxer and world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk topped the ranking of the best boxers regardless of weight category according to The Ring.
This is reported by the sports publication The Ring.
In the new ranking, Usyk rose from second to first place after American Terence Crawford ended his career. In total, all boxers rose one position in the ranking:
1. Oleksandr Usyk (Ukraine) — super heavyweight;
2. Naoya Inoue (Japan) — featherweight;
3. Jesse Rodriguez (USA) — lightweight;
4. Dmitry Bivol — light heavyweight;
5. Artur Beterbiev — light heavyweight;
6. Junto Nakatani (Japan) — lightweight;
7. Shakur Stevenson (USA) — lightweight;
8. David Benavides (USA) — light heavyweight;
9. Devin Gainey (USA) — second featherweight;
10. Oscar Collazo (USA) — minimum weight.
- In the heavyweight rankings, Briton Fabio Wardley, to whom he handed the title when he relinquished the WBO belt in November, took first place instead of Usyk. Daniel Dubois is in third place.
