This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

"For the first time since February 24, work has been resumed in the seaports of Ukraine. The ships, which were loaded with grain during the winter, are ready to leave as soon as our partners, the UN and Turkey agree on a "green corridor" in the direction of the Bosphorus. Ukraine remains the guarantor of global food security," he said.

Kubrakov thanked the ambassadors of the G7, the European Delegation, Turkey and the UN for their joint work.

Exports of grain will begin with the shipment of several ships that have been loaded but have been unable to leave port due to the onset of a full-scale Russian invasion.

• On July 22, in Istanbul, at the suggestion of the United Nations, Ukraine, Turkey and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres signed the Initiative on the safe transportation of grain and food products from the Ukrainian ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny.
• On July 23, the Russians attacked the Odesa Sea Trade Port with Kalibr cruise missiles. The Air Defense Forces shot down two missiles, and two more hit the infrastructure of the port. There was grain that was being prepared for export. The rockets did not hit the grain storage, but hit the pumping station, causing a small fire. There was no significant destruction, and no casualties. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack on the port of Odessa.
