Ukraine will receive $4.8 billion from the World Bank

The World Bank will allocate $4.8 billion for Ukraine. The funds will go to the state budget through the PEACE program.

This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

This assistance is funded by the United States and development partners. The money is planned to be used for social and humanitarian programs. Shmyhal added that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has attracted more than $100 billion in external financing.

The World Bank is an international credit and financial institution that promotes economic development and poverty reduction in the world. The Bank provides loans, grants, and other assistance to countries so that they can improve infrastructure, education, medicine, agriculture, and more.
