The Red Cross denied information about the termination of the mission in Ukraine

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has temporarily suspended its work in Ukraine for "security reasons".

This was reported by Reuters with reference to the words of the press secretary of the ICRC.

Update 17:00. The Red Cross Society of Ukraine (RCSU) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) denied the information about the termination of the Red Cross work on the territory of Ukraine.

"In connection with todayʼs rocket attacks on the cities of Ukraine, the Red Cross Society of Ukraine is working in an intensified mode, providing assistance to the victims. The partners of the international movement of the Red Cross also continue to work on the territory of Ukraine in order to help as many people as possible through joint efforts," the message reads.

The Norwegian Refugee Council also said it had suspended its aid until it could be safely resumed.
