The judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) found the assets of the current MP from the "Servant of the People" Lyudmila Marchenko for 2021-2023 to be unfounded, amounting to over UAH 8.2 million.
This was reported by the press service of SAPO.
The case concerns 5 apartments, property rights to the apartment, and a Toyota Land Cruiser. The judges referred to the fact that despite the ownership of this property, which is registered to the father and the brotherʼs cohabitant, Marchenko actually used it.
The investigation also found that her family members would not have been able to purchase property with legitimate income.
- In March, the Supreme Court of Ukraine sentenced Lyudmila Marchenko and her assistant Anastasia Kolesnyk to two years in prison for illegally assisting people in traveling abroad. Marchenko was also banned from holding public office for three years.
- After the publication of evidence of the offense, Lyudmila Marchenko was expelled from the “Servant of the People” party on July 12, 2023.
