A pensioner from Khmelnytsky region organized an underground casino in the basement of her house. She was declared a suspect

In the city of Volochysk (Khmelnytskyi region), law enforcement officers have uncovered an illegal gambling business. A 63-year-old woman is suspected of organizing it.

This was reported by the Khmelnytskyi region police.

According to the investigation, the underground casino was set up in the basement of a residential building. The entrance to the establishment was through an inconspicuous locked door, and only a limited circle of people could get inside.

At the scene, law enforcement officers found the administrator and one of the visitors of the establishment. During the search, computers, surveillance cameras, mobile phones and bank cards were seized.

And in the house of the 63-year-old organizer, more than 400 thousand hryvnias and draft notes were found. The woman was charged under Part 1 of Article 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — illegal activities in organizing or conducting gambling and lotteries.
