Ukrainian military strikes Yeisk oil terminal in Russia

On the night of August 22, Ukrainian military personnel struck fuel and lubricant tanks at the Yeisk oil-tanking complex in Russia.
The General Staff reported this.
The facility is located in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, and a fire broke out after the impact. The extent of the damage is currently being determined.
The Yeisk Oil Tanker Complex is part of the infrastructure of the Yeisk seaport in the Taganrog Bay of the Sea of Azov. It receives, stores, and ships petroleum products for sea transport.
The portʼs cargo terminals can handle approximately 6.8 million tons of cargo per year, of which over a million tons are bulk cargoes, including petroleum products. The facility also supplies the Russian military.
- During the day, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the strike on a logistics hub in the Samara region. The day before, OSINT channels wrote that the “Ozon” logistics warehouse in Chapayevsk was under attack.
