The Russians attacked Ukraine with missiles, “Banderols” and 217 drones. How the air defense worked

The Russian army attacked Ukraine on the night of August 22 with “Iskander-M” missiles, S-400, three Kh-31P/Kh-59 aircraft missiles, “Banderols”, and 217 “Shahed”, “Gerbera”, and “Parody” drones. The air defense neutralized three Kh-31P/Kh-59 missiles, six Banderoles, and 182 drones.

This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Kyiv and Odesa regions were hit the hardest. The Russians hit 41 locations, and debris fell on 12 more.

In particular, it became known that in Kyiv, the Russians hit one of the railway enterprises in the Darnytsky district with ballistic missiles. An employee was killed. At the “Rozdilna” station in the Odesa region, the attack damaged the station.

• In Kryvyi Rih, after yesterdayʼs attack on a shopping center, 16 people have already died and another 130 people have been injured.
