In Lutsk, a group of people attacked military TRC and damaged their car

In Lutsk, on the evening of August 20, a group of people attacked military personnel, damaged their car, and stole their belongings.

This was reported by the Volyn Regional TRC.

The incident began when the military stopped the car to check documents at a checkpoint near the car market. The man refused to show documents and provide his personal data, after which he fled. The police and military TRC went after him, but the man left the car at a traffic light on Zakhysnykiv Ukrainy Street and began to run towards residential buildings.

Police officers and soldiers of the TRC ran after him. After that, a group of people approached the scene of the incident and began to beat the soldiers with their hands and various objects. As a result, two TRC soldiers received injuries — bruises and abrasions.

One of the group members also broke the glass in the car and threw it at the military. As a result of the incident, all the windows and headlights of the TRC car were broken, and all the wheels were damaged. These people also stole the radio, body camera, and car keys.

One of the participants in the incident was detained. Police are investigating the incident.
